McGregor, 40, credits his desire to be an actor to his uncle, Denis Lawson. “My uncle Denis played a character called Wedge, who was a Star Fighter pilot in the original ‘Star Wars’ trilogy. He was one of the few Star Fighter pilots who made it through all three. And he’s a great actor and he’s always been my inspiration, since I was a little child.”
